A new blog!

I wanted to start a blog- really just a place to share what the Lord is teaching me and laying on my heart. I have no idea if even one person will read it.  But, sometimes it helps reinforce it in my head to share these lessons, and it's a passion of mine- to see women looking to the Lord, trusting Him, and devouring His word. The title "Be Being" comes from Romans 12:2- "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of  your mind." The phrase "be transformed" means to "be being transformed"- it's a process. We must actively and intentionally pursue the Lord and growing in Christ-likeness so that our minds can be renewed and not conformed to the pattern of this world. Because that is exactly what happens- even to women who seriously love Jesus and want to grow- if we don't actively run hard after him, our affections will settle in on the world around us. So this is the place where I share with you how I am being transformed....and sometimes probably how I am not. I want this to be a "real place". I don't want anyone getting any strange ideas about me "having it all together" or any such thing like that- so I hope to share both about how I do this (seeking Christ) well and how I don't.
